GG apologizes for Rwandan genocide inaction

Too little too late or.. pointless? I don't know. This seems like a photo Opt to me. I am not denying that we should have been involved and I am not disputing the tragedy that the world's inaction amplified. However, it seems ridiculous to go through this pathetic charade for the purpose of acknowledging our weakness at the time.
