I wanted to write about this a while ago. See, being Canadian leaves me more than a little ignorant of how the US system works. So could someone enlighten me about this?

I have to say that it miffed me too and I live in the US!!! My hubby who is a lawyer says yes, that is true. I have read from a few news sources that as a Supreme Court Judge one *interprets* the Constitution and laws, not *legislates* them from the bench. I guess the congressional hearings will help to see how this all turns out. It's weird..I mean I how can not having experience work successfully?
