Orielly needs to go back to highschool for a history lesson. He needs to focus that lesson on The American Revolution. If it wasn't for the French you wouldn't HAVE a country!
Why should the French be considered an enemy for making decisions about thier foriegn policies? It is thier right as a seperate and soveriegn nation to make such choices.
Other nations don't have to agree with the USA. They simply don't. They are entitled to do that.
The word "Patriot" doesn't apply to Americans alone. People and leaders of other countries are just as proud and have just as much of a right to chose how they manage themselves as Americans do.
Orielly is simply perpetuating the American stereotype. An egocentric perspective on the world and a might equals right mentality.
His website is really sad as well. You have to pay him to be a member! $50.00 if you want any of the "good" pictures of him (Are there any?). what a conceited asswipe! He only attracts all the bitter but over privileged white wingers (no that was a typo) who should be kissing the asses of all the people they've stepped on to get where they are today! Oreilly is a moron....have you seen the documentary Outfoxed? He has no respect for any individual or group that oppose his opinions or ideals. I don't care for the guy that much.
and no, I haven't seen that documentary but frankly I am not surprized by your opinion of him. His antagony is more about his own self absorption than any real attempt at swaying political views.
I think he loves his shock value swinging the cameras in his direction.
