The man who shot several children at an Amish schoolhouse in Pennsylvania told his wife he had molested young family members 20 years ago, said state
Are the parents feeling relieved that he didn't do what he planned? Doubtful.
They say they forgive him. That is very strong faith indeed. I am not sure I could.
God bless thier souls.

Many people have been molested, it doesn't give you the license to do it to others. I have no empathy for this man. I feel for his family and what they have to live with. I feel for the victims family and friends. Pedophiles, should never see the light of day.
This type of forgiveness is dangerous, imo ..in this world, you must be on guard to protect your children. I would have been shot, before I would have left my child in that room with this man.
Not to say the mothers and fathers were wrong...fear can be paralyzing but he was a filthy animal to even enter that school with a gun with intent to harm...all bets are off at that point. He becomes sub-human in my eyes and I'm glad he is dead not to harm anymore.
Forgiveness...never!
ANd I don't believe that means I haven't evolved enough. Evil is evil...that should be condemed!
All in my opinion dear.

Sorry for the rant, this is a passionate subject to me.

I love some of the Amish beliefs... no violence, but I do believe that violence is necessary for protection...otherwise, look what has happened...
beautiful little spirits...are gone, for what? They could have been the next presidents, poets, artists writers who could have changed the world for the better.
