True, but that doesn't make it right.It is morally and ethically wrong. We are supposed to be evolving still. We should by now be able to resolve our differences in a more dignified, diplomatic and (dare I say) democratic fashion.

All these evangilist right winged Christians SHOULD really ask themselves...
What WOULD Jesus Do?

Good point. I thought using the term evangilist was enough of a description. I was mistaken. Maybe zeolot would have been better? Or maybe just said "some" ahead of evangilist.Maybe not.

Willow, Rue is definately delusional. She is another one of those people who live life with their head stuck in the sand. Waiting for man to evolve, and acting hurt and surprised when bad things happen. Man is his own worst enemy.

Other than the delusional comment I am in total agreement. Man IS his own worst enemy. Aren't we then supposed to be trying to correct that? I am not satisfied to accept things as par for course. The statis quoe isn't good enough for me. What good does it do to stay resigned in a world of hatred and killing. Do you really want that? Is that the best we can do? I am not delusional. I am idealistic just as most of our forefathers were. Is this what they hoped for us? I am not waiting for man to evolve I am evolving to the best of my ability. I am hoping others will join me. I am not the only one.

I'm university educated actually and you've missed my point. I said I am not going to resign myself to a world full of hatred and killing. I didn't even mention religion in my post. Jesus was not cruxified by people like me. If they were people like me it wouldn't have happened. That's an illogical statement. It's people like you who just seemed to be content to accept things as they are. People perpetuate this...people can change this. I believe that and many others do to. The world needs to change not to continue as we've always continued.
