Gaza Strip evacuation


I think our news coverage is missing something in this story. I think they are missing what this means to those thousands of people. I think they are missing hundreds of years of strife to stay being sacrificed in the hopes of seemingly evasive peace. I don't know that we of this generation on this continent can understand what it feels like to give up your home like that.I don't think we understand thier resistance. I think we need to hear more of thier voices. I think we need to respect and appreciate thier sacrifice I searched for articles that bring it more to heart:

I am so totally upset with how the world is. . .Lately, watching the news has literally made me ill.

Yes, it all seems very bleak doesn't it? I think alot of people feel very lost and hopeless. I can only have faith that things will get better. That the sacrifices made will be worth while. Maybe we just need to count our personal blessings and hope for a better future.
